Taskforce

The Taskforce is a fully independent group dedicated to continuing the journey of Maori economic development. In the spirit of partnership called for at the Hui Taumata 2005, members of the group come from a wide range of organisations, with one aim:

To enhance the lives of Maori through economic prosperity by accelerating Maori-led economic development.

Along with government funding for projects and a Secretariat, the Taskforce is partnering with expert organisations to co-operatively manage projects and ensure that results are quickly turned into action.
